A weather dashboard that puts the forecast, wind, tide and sun and moon cycles on one screen - the whole picture at a glance, with nothing to click through.
Shorecast puts the numbers you actually check - the forecast, the wind, the tide, and the sun and moon - onto a single screen. Most weather sites make you click between tabs and piece the picture together yourself. Shorecast is built to be read at a glance, so one look tells you what the day is doing.
All on one screen
- Forecast - current conditions, hourly detail and a seven-day outlook, with rain, temperature, humidity, pressure and UV.
- Wind - speed, direction and gusts through the day.
- Tide - highs, lows, and the state of the tide right now.
- Sun and moon - sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset and the moon phase.
Set your location once and the dashboard follows it. Custom warning rules let you set your own thresholds - wind above a certain speed, rain above a certain amount - so the conditions that matter to you are called out instead of being buried in the numbers.
Built on Laravel, with forecast and marine data from Open-Meteo. The interface is dark and high-contrast by design: it is meant to live on a tablet on the bench or the wall, readable from across the room.
